Bio

I am a Sociology PhD student at the University of Florida. I teach lower and upper division courses in this cacpacity to serve burgeoning undergraduate demands. My research interests include community based action research, social movements to reduce consumerism, and open source social science. I've been in Florida most of my life and most of my familiy is still here, so I probably won't ever be leaving permanently. I'm thinking about moving to Miami in the long term, but between then and now, I hope to see a lot more of the country and meet individuals who can help further my personal growth. My life right now is very conventional (by my standards) and though I remain mostly contented, I still sense something big out there for my life to discover... if I can only muster the courage to truly reconceptualize my existence.
